One of my favourite products to use during the summer is a dry oil and top of my list is the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. During the winter I am definitely a lotion/cream girl but in the humid weather I will always go for a dry oil and this multi-purpose, non-greasy dry oil is a must have. Created in 1991, Huile Prodigieuse has already achieved cult status in the beauty world.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse contains 6 botanical oils – Sweet Almond, Borage, Camellia, St. John’s Wort, Hazelnut and Macadamia as well as Vitamin E and Botanical esters derived from Coconut which gives it its dry finish. The fragrance is seriously addictive. Top notes include Orange Blossom & Plum, middle notes of Rose, Geranium & Magnolia and top notes of Coconut & Vanilla. The fragrance was so popular Nuxe have since introduced Prodigieux Le Parfum, Shower Oil and Body Lotion to capture the fragrance.
The Huile Prodigieuse can be used for the face, the body and hair.
Face – Spray into the palm of your hands and add to your moisturiser or foundation for a smooth finish.
Body – Apply to the shoulders, neckline, hands etc to moisture and leave skin silky smooth. Use as an aftersun for skin that needs moisturising and repairing. Use to reduce the appearance of stretch marks or simply add a few drops to bath water and relax. The Golden Shimmer version which contains tiny shimmering particles is gorgeous applied to the decollete and especially applied to the legs on holiday or for a night out and can enhance a tan (faux of course).
Hair – Apply to a natural bristle brush and comb through for smooth and shiny hair or alternatively spray directly onto the hair (from about 20cm away), massage into scalp and hair and wrap in a hot towel for 15 to 20mins before shampooing.
Each summer, Nuxe introduce a limited edition Huile Prodigieuse Paris in a unique and covetable bottle. Each limited edition bottle has a unique design. Keep an eye out in stockists as this is one bottle that is as fabulous as the product itself.
