Life has been a bit hectic of late, I decided to do an online course, work has been stressful, my health has been on the poorer side and life in general is a bit full on. So what better time to try out the thisworks Energy Bank range which landed on my desk earlier this year. I have been a long term fan of thisworks products especially the Deep Sleep range (www.lilyandolive.wordpress.com/2015/10/16/thisworks-deep-sleep). Energy Bank is an aromatherapeutic range based on an original bath oil blend created by thisworks founder Kathy Phillips in 2014.
The 1st product in the range I tried was the Energy Bank Shower Gel 250ml (RRP €21). The shower gel contains Geranium to rebalance, Ylang Ylang to restore vitality and Rosemary to stimulate the body & mind. This 100% aromatic natural fragrance can be used as a shower gel or as a foam bath and I loved it! It is perfect for those mornings where getting going is that much slower, when sleep has evaded you the night before or you need to be on your A game when all you want to put your head back under the duvet. I was definitely more alert after using and better able to face the day.
The 2nd product I trialed is the Energy Bank Body Makeover 120ml (RRP €41). This rapidly absorbed oil contains a highly concentrated blend of 16 essential oils and includes Rosehip Oil to help fade skin marks, Passion Flower Seed & Gold of Pleasure to improve skin tone and elasticity & Jojoba Oil to protect and rebalance sensitive skin. thisworks recommend using this oil on a daily basis but as this is not a dry oil, it does take a little bit of time to dry. This oil didn’t give me the ‘energy’ of the Shower Gel but it certainly was a pleasure to use. The body oil is also suitable for anyone undergoing weight loss and is suitable for use during pregnancy making it a perfect gift for any mum to be.
