I am a complete knowledge addict especially when it comes to fragrance. So when I heard that Lizzie Ostrom aka Odette Toilette was releasing “Perfume A Century of Scents” I knew I had to make a purchase.
Think Jimmy Choo and you instantly think of sexy, glamorous, beautiful shoes, but in 2011 Jimmy Choo added fragrances to it’s ever growing brand portfolio. As a huge Jimmy Choo shoe admirer – I’m not lucky enough to own a pair – I was really looking forward to their 1st offering Jimmy Choo EDP.
A private party was held on October 1st in Harvey Nichols London to celebrate the launch of Azzi Glasser’s fragrances exclusively available at Harvey Nichols. This is all part of Harvey Nichols Art of Scent campaign currently running throughout their stores.
I have told a few people now that I am loving the new Alaia fragrance and the first reaction everyone has had is “Who?” & so I tell this story. Remember the movie Clueless, remember when Cher was robbed at gun point and told to lie down on the ground. Remember Cher protested by exclaiming “This is Alaia, a totally important designer”. Moschino as a design house have always had a quirky sense of humour with both Barbie and McDonald’s featuring on the runway. Their current creative director, Jeremy Scott, released his 1st fragrance for the house in 2014 – a unisex floral, citrus fragrance with underlying woody base named simply as Moschino Toy.
